Project Coordinator / Project Specialist
Daily Responsibilities & Key Duties:
Your daily work will be centered on the technical execution of foodservice facility designs through the following activities:
- REVIT Drafting & BIM Management: You will assume the primary BIM production role for assigned projects, managing and preparing drawing documentation within the REVIT model to ensure a complete and accurate drawing set.
- Engineering & Utility Coordination: You will perform detailed work with engineering requirements, including identifying utility engineering requirements to generate Utility Load Schedules. You will also prepare comprehensive “cut books” that document all utility information for equipment.
- Cross-Discipline Collaboration: You will act as a bridge between Culinary Advisors and other design disciplines, coordinating with architects and engineers to ensure the foodservice design intent is successfully integrated into the larger building project.
- Technical Research & Specifications: You will seek out specific engineering information from manufacturers to ensure equipment fits design requirements and prepare detailed equipment specifications and cost estimates.
- Project Lifecycle Support: You will assist in assembling final project documentation, participate in milestone meetings (such as BIM execution and design coordination), and respond to RFI’s and submittal reviews.
Location & Travel:
- Remote: We are looking for a candidate located in the Mid-Atlantic Region to work remotely.
- Travel: This role may involve out-of-office or out-of-town travel for site visits or client meetings; however, such travel is expected to be infrequent.
Qualifications:
- Software: Knowledge of Revit and BIM is preferred. For the right candidate, we are happy to provide Revit classes to get you up to speed.
- Professionalism: You should maintain a professional demeanor in all communications and be able to provide timely updates on task status and schedules.

This is a full-time salaried position.

Senior-level Foodservice Design Project Manager

Requirements:
- Any combination of education and proven work experience in the field of culinary design and/or operations appropriate to the responsibilities of a senior-level position.
- Past foodservice design project management or comparable industry experience.
- Proven experience and technical proficiency with Revit Architecture, Bluebeam, AutoQuotes, and Microsoft Suite.
- Understanding of BIM Management and Integrated Project Delivery concepts.
- Extensive experience with architectural project workflows (SD, DD, and CD phases) and project management (CM@R, GMP, Design/Build, Design-Bid-Build, etc.)
- Ability to express foodservice designs and ideas in visually compelling digital presentations to a variety of audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates positive attitude
- Strong teamwork, communication, organizational and time-management skills
- The ability to multi‐task
- A willingness to learn and teach others, including the professional development of the studio members
- Thought leadership and confidence in culinary design concepts, foodservice equipment, and health department requirements
- Leadership abilities, attention to detail management, and aptitude for sound judgement.
- Strong project and client management skills including managing expectations, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with consultants, architects, engineers, and clients
- Provide on-going support for the project teams and a design principal
- Effectively manage the day to day of a Design Studio
- Communicate clearly and concisely with clients while delivering exceptional customer care
- Travel regularly for client meetings, training opportunities, and project punches.
- Have strong teamwork, communication and organizational skills

Job Details:
- Complete detailed technical drawings in the REVIT platform to meet our established foodservice design standards
- Deliver the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure our drawings are the foundation for a successful project
- Support Design Project Managers as design lead on within established timelines
- Support Design Project Managers in client communications and relationship management
- Take initiative to drive assigned task work to completion
- Communicate proactively with your coworkers
- Work independently as well as on a team, under communicated deadlines with the ability and autonomy to manage your schedule
- Maintain drawing sets, as required, as projects progress, making necessary revisions and sk’s as required
- Collaborate on systems and process improvements for Design Development
- Uphold RFHSD standards, processes, and procedures as they relate to the design department
- Actively participate in the advancement of RFHSD team culture with clients and co-workers, and make suggestions on improvements if needed
- Gain proficiency in communicating RFHSD company mission, vision and values and be an ambassador for our brand
- Support the RFHSD sales process through your technical expertise, as beneficial and requested
- Gain proficiency in Salesforce use as a tool to manage project pipeline, BD and sales
Ideal Candidate Qualities:

Minimum 3-5 years in a foodservice drafting or designer role with proficiency in Revit and a relevant drafting portfolio
- Architectural degree is preferred
- High-level attention to detail
- A commitment to excellence, both personally and in the work you produce
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and pivot quickly between projects, conversations, and tasks
- A strong desire to make an immediate impact as well as to make a lasting impression on the company
- Someone who thrives under the highest expectations, communicated deadlines, can self-motivate/manage, and take responsibility and accountability seriously
- Experience in hospitality is a plus, and hospitality mindset a must
- Experience working professionally with a diverse range of people, internally and externally
- Microsoft Workspace knowledge a plus
